The series
The Game is a Cold War spy thriller mini-series that takes place in London in 1972. In the series, tensions are at a terrifying peak as the world’s super powers plot against each other. The threat: a dangerous and deadly Soviet plot, designed to bring Britain to its knees.
The campaign
I led a partnership with a major distributor to promote the series, which included:
- Innovative scheduling to take advantage of on demand TV viewing patterns
- A targeted digital and on-air media buy
- Partnership for multi-million dollar promotional campaign across all platforms including on-air, digital and social media
The results
The series performed far higher than comparable dramas, and on par with top tentpole series. Viewing was many times higher on the distributor's platform compared to other platforms, thanks to the promotional campaign.
